Artrodesis de codo posterior a cirugías reconstructivas de codo fallidas. Reporte de dos casos

La artrodesis de codo es utilizada como método de salvamento en casos de destrucción articular grave, donde no se puede utilizar la reconstrucción articular ni la artroplastia. El objetivo es lograr una fusión rígida en una posición óptima según las necesidades del paciente, que oscila entre 90 y 110º, la cual se puede lograr mediante técnicas como fijación externa, placas de compresión posteriores o anteriores, y tornillos de compresión. Presentamos el reporte de dos casos en los cuales se realizó artrodesis exitosa de codo con placas de compresión posteriores después de múltiples cirugías fallidas en el codo.
