Tratamiento quirúrgico de la ruptura insercional del tendón de Aquiles mediante la cirugía de reinserción por tunelización en el calcáneo: reporte de caso

Se describe el caso clínico de un paciente adulto joven deportista con ruptura del tendón de Aquiles en la inserción en el calcáneo del pie izquierdo, posterior a tendinopatía insercional crónica. Se presenta una técnica quirúrgica para la reconstrucción del tendón de Aquiles por ruptura insercional en el calcáneo que consiste en una modificación a la cirugía descrita por Pierrot y Murphy para la transferencia superior y anterior del tendón de Aquiles en el calcáneo, diseñada para el manejo del pie equino dinámico en pacientes con parálisis cerebral, con adición de la cirugía de Scuderi, empleada para el reparo de las rupturas del tendón del cuádriceps.
