The fibro-osseous pseudotumor of the digits is an entity considered as acral heterotopic ossification of infrequent presentation. Being histologically benign, it behaves aggressively, compromising interphalangeal mobility due to its particular location. The recognition of this pathology with unique istopathological characteristics, is a challenge for the pathologist and the oncological orthopedist specifically with respect to overtreatment.
We describe the case of a female patient affected by this entity in the little finger of the right hand.
