Abstract

Partial rotator cuff tears do not have a clear understanding of its natural history, and for being a common pathology, committed to sedentary individuals, workers and athletes, but its conservative management and/or surgical treatment remains controversial. Partial ruptures are twice as frequent than total ruptures and may be associated with concomitant pathology as superior labral lesions, biceps pathology and cartilaginous injuries among others.
