Abstract

The rotator cuff disease is one of the most frequent causes of consultation within the general population. Although it has more refined surgical techniques, the rate of re-ruptures continued to be very high. This is a review of the histological rotator cuff anatomy and physiology of healing, using various biological aids currently available, their evaluation in order to improve the quality of healing and the various factors that directly or indirectly affect healing of the ruptures of rotator cuff.
